PAVLES PROJECT

The PavleS project is a TeamCAD project that cooperates with the Pavle Savić Technical School from Novi Sad. The project's name was derived from the school's name and in honour of the famous physicist, chemist, and founder of the Vinča Nuclear Institute. The technical school allowed the usage of the facility, and TeamCAD provided the knowledge, technology, and hardware, including servers and sensors, as well as the development of the web application. The project aims to demonstrate the attitude that only an object with the synergy of BIM information and various sensors can be called smart building. Sensors alone are not enough.

This smart building can provide useful information by combining sensor information with BIM data. The information thus obtained can be used to reduce maintenance costs for the building, prevent possible damage, increase user comfort, etc.

Reducing of cleaning costs

Find out which rooms have been used

The module is designed for the analysis of room usage to optimize resources required for their cleaning. It relies on information from 3D BIM models and presence sensors. Based on the obtained data, it is possible to identify which rooms were used during a specific period, their surfaces areas, and the total area of the used spaces. The information is displayed in a 3D model and can be printed in the form of reports or exported to an xlsx format for further processing.

The use of this module enables resource planning and cleaning only those rooms that have been used.

Warning module

Timely notification of critical situations and weather warnings

The module allows users to receive alerts via the Telegram application. The alerts contain information about current weather warnings for the geographical location of the facility. The data received can be combined with the current sensor status via the Telegram application. For example, if there is a storm warning, by sending the message - WINDOWS - you will receive information about which windows are open so that you can take appropriate action in time to prevent damage.

Monitoring the window status

View the current status of the window

The module allows users to see the rooms in which one of the windows is currently open. In combination with the warning module, it can be used to prevent property damage (checking open windows in the case of a storm warning) or to increase comfort (in the case of a warning of upcoming high or low temperatures).

The display of the current status of the window allows users to react according to their needs and ensures comfort and efficient use of space.

Temperature and humidity

Discover the most comfortable rooms

Modules are intended for processing information obtained from sensors measuring temperature and humidity in rooms. This allows precise management of air conditioning and maintenance of optimal conditions for comfort and efficiency.

Additionally, sensors can detect extreme changes in temperature and humidity, indicating potential issues in the heating or cooling system, as well as unhealthy conditions for people.

Room occupancy

Real-time display of room occupancy

The module provides a real-time display of current room occupancy based on information from motion sensors.

For easier analysis, it is possible to graphically show rooms that have been in use in the last ten minutes.

Maintenance Planning – Floors

Simple maintenance and budget planning

The module facilitates planning repairs, reconstruction, or maintenance of floors by allowing users to load exact surfaces by selecting rooms and see the total costs if the work price per square meter is entered.

Floors can be added or subtracted on the go, making it easy to see if plans stay within the budget.

About us

About the school

Technical School "Pavle Savić" in Novi Sad was founded on July 25, 1961, as the Chemical-Technological School. Starting with only two classes, it began its work in the building of the United Milling Industry. Today, the school educates students in three areas: chemistry, non-metals and graphics; personal services; agriculture, food production, and processing, with 17 educational profiles and 1199 students. About Pavle Savić

Pavle Savić (Thessaloniki, January 10, 1909 - Belgrade, May 30, 1994) was a Serbian physicist and chemist, known for his collaboration with Irène Joliot-Curie in Paris, where they discovered isotopes of known elements by bombarding uranium atoms with slow neutrons. He was also the director of the construction of the Nuclear Institute in Vinča, and later the founder of the "Vinča" Institute and its director. Link to the wiki page.
